This Cookie Policy explains how Caret Care LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company ("Caret Care," "we," "us," or "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on www.caretcare.com (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more broadly.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your browser or device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognize your device, remember your preferences and login state, and understand how the site is being used. Some cookies expire when you close your browser (session cookies); others remain on your device until they expire or you delete them (persistent cookies).

2. Cookies we use

Essential cookies. These are required for the Site to function. They include cookies that keep you logged in to your account, maintain your session as you move between pages, and support secure registration and checkout through our membership platform. The Site cannot operate properly without them, and they cannot be disabled through the Site itself.

Functional cookies. These remember choices you make, such as form progress and display preferences, so you do not have to re-enter them on each visit.

Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit, to understand how visitors use the Site: which pages are visited, how long visits last, and how visitors arrive. This information is aggregated and used to improve the Site and the program. It is not used to identify you personally.

We do not use advertising or ad-targeting cookies, and we do not sell information collected through cookies.

3. Third-party cookies

Some cookies on the Site are set by third-party services we use to operate it, including Google Analytics and, when payments are taken, our payment processor. These providers may collect information about your visit under their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review. We do not control cookies set by third parties.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including when we add or change the tools we use. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.

caret care opens to clinicians in small groups. Tell us who you are and where you're licensed. Requests are reviewed within 2 business days, and if the current group is full, you'll start on the waitlist. Requesting is free; nothing is charged unless you're invited and choose to sign up.
